This non-invasive LED light therapy works at a cellular level. The soothing, deep penetrating LED lights target deep into cells heightening their internal functions, photo-stimulating dermal blood flow, and creates faster healing so your skin always looks rejuvenated.

What are LED Lights?

LED is a light emitting diode. LED technology uses wavelengths from the visible light spectrum as well as near infrared. They do not contain harmful ultraviolet wavelengths and therefore cannot damage skin tissue.

What is the history of LED Lights?

NASA first used LED lights for wound healing. They were then used in the medical field before they began gaining popularity in aesthetics.

What are the benefits of LED Lights?

Skin has the ability to absorb light and use it as a source of energy to stimulate a healing response. LED light therapy uses specific color wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin at varying depths targeting different skin concerns.

What do the different colors mean?

Red light lies next to infrared at the end of the visible part of the light spectrum, and its wavelengths disable inflammation triggers. Inflammation is linked to acne, pigmentation and rosacea, which is why you’ll find this wonder light in most treatments. Red light promotes regeneration of skin cells, blood circulation, heals acne scarring and allergic dermatitis, soothes pain, and activates ingredients in skin care. Suitable for all skin tones which is why it is at the top of my list!

Blue light can kill acne bacteria, inhibiting sebaceous glands, prevention of wound infection, allergic skin calm. Blue light also eliminates acne vulgaris (the bacteria responsible for causing spots), while leaving the good bacteria intact. Blue light can be used on its own but it’s often paired with red light. Red and blue lights have very specific wavelengths and, when used together, kill acne bacteria and help the skin to heal. Not suitable for deeper skin tones.

Yellow light reduces redness and wrinkle-causing inflammation while boosting circulation. It works by stimulating the rejuvenation process within your cells to improve the density of your skin. Not suitable for deeper skin tones.

Green light helps with pigmentation. Green light targets dark circles, pigmentation, broken capillaries and sunspots. It also calms irritated or over-stimulated skin. It helps to reduce sun damage, acne scarring, pigmentation and rosacea. Not suitable for deeper skin tones.
